Operations
at the new plant consisted of automatic barrel zinc plating and a dip
spin paint process, primarily to apply Dacromet® products. From the
beginning our vision and goal has been to exceed today's automotive,
appliance and electrical manufacturing expectations and to anticipate
customer needs by constant innovation and improvement. Superior Coatings
has achieved this by becoming the #1 metal finishing company in the
region in growth and service while achieving ISO-9002 / QS-9000
registration status.
Superior Coatings' sales
have grown by more than 400% and we now have over 60 employees. In
addition to the automatic zinc barrel line, we have added two new
production lines and many value added services. These include a large
rack zinc plating line and a state of the art Fastener plating line.
Complementing these processes are Vibratory Deburr, Packaging and
Labeling lines, as well as, sorting and light assembly capabilities.
Baking Ovens have also been added to relieve hydrogen embrittlement of
heat-treated parts and for hardening of nickel.
Our Laboratory has also been
ISO-9002 / QS-9000 registered allowing us to fulfill our customers' PPAP
needs on a very timely and cost effective basis. Our lab capabilities
include a full wet chemistry lab along with thickness and hardness
testing equipment.
Our growth has not only been
a result of our process capabilities, but has been in large part due to
the people of Superior Coatings. Our people on the floor have embraced
the ISO-9002 / QS-9000 quality system enabling us to have the full
confidence of our customers and to ensure a quality part. With the
